    An overview of the

    FUNCTION AND USE

    1 Speed adjustment mode

    External input speed regulation: connect 2 fixed terminals of the external potentiometer to the GND port and +5v port of driver respectively. Connect the adjustment end to SV end to use the external potentiometer (10K~50K) to adjust speed, or through other control units (such as PLC, single-chip microcomputer, and so on) input analog voltage to SV end to realize speed regulation (relative to GND). The acceptance voltage range of the SV port is DC OV to +5V, and the corresponding motor speed is 0 to rated speed.

    2 Motor run/stop control (EN)

    The motor’s running and stopping could be controlled by controlling the on and off of the terminal EN relative to GND. When the terminal is conductive, the motor will run; otherwise the motor will stop. When using the run/stop terminal to stop motor, the motor will stop naturally, and its motion law is related to the inertia of the load.

    3 Motor forward/reverse running control (F/R)

    The motor’s running direction could be controlled by controlling the on/off of terminal F/R and terminal GND. When F/R and terminal GND are not conductive, the motor will run clockwise (from motor shaft side), otherwise, the motor will run counterclockwise.

    4 Driver Failure

    When overvoltage or over-current occurs inside the driver, the driver will enter the protection state and automatically stop working, the motor will stop, and the blue light on the driver will go off. The driver will release the alarm when the enable terminal is reset (ie, EN is disconnected from GND) or power is turned off. When this fault occurs, please check the wiring connection with motor or motor load.

    5 RS485 Communication Port

    The driver communication mode adopts standard Modbus protocol, which conforms to national standard GB/T 19582.1-2008. Using RS485-based 2-wire serial link communication, the physical interface uses a conventional 3-pin wiring port (A+, GND, B-), and the serial connection is very convenient.

    USING STEPS

    1. Correctly connect the motor cable, Hall cable and power cable. Incorrect wiring may cause damage to the motor and driver.

    2. When using an external potentiometer to adjust the speed, connect the moving point (middle interface) of the external potentiometer to SV port of driver, and other 2 interfaces are connected to the GND and +5V ports.

    3.If an external potentiometer is used for speed regulation, adjust R-SV to the position of 1.0, at the same time connect EN to ground, connect the moving point (middle interface) of the external potentiometer to the SV port of the driver, and the other two to the GND and +5V ports .

    4. Power on and run the motor, the motor is in the closed-loop maximum speed state at this time, adjust the attenuation potentiometer to the required speed.
