Introduction to Joint Robot

Joint robot, also known as joint robotic arm or multi joint robot, has joints that rotate, similar to human arms. Joint robot is one of the most common forms of industrial robots in today’s industrial field, suitable for mechanical automation operations in many industrial fields.

The advantages of joint robot:
1)Compact structure, large working range, and small installation footprint.
2)High accessibility, 5-6 shafts, suitable for almost trajectory or angle of work
3)As there are no moving joints, there is no need for guide rail. The rotating joint is easy to seal. As the bearing components are mass-produced standard parts, they have low friction, small inertia, and good reliability.
4)Improve production efficiency with controllable error rates
5)Replace many complex tasks that are not suitable for human labor and are harmful to physical health.

The disadvantages of joint robot:
1)The axes of the elbow and shoulder joints are parallel. When the upper and lower arms are stretched in a straight line, although they can reach a distant working point, the structural stiffness of the robot is relatively low.
2)The robot hand exhibits kinematic degradation behavior when working at the boundary of the working range.
3)High price leads to high initial investment costs.
4)Complex structure leads to a lot of preparation work before production.
Since establishment, Shenzhen Zhongling Technology Co., Ltd. (ZLTECH for short) has been dedicated to the research and development, production, and performance optimization of servo motors. With the values of focus, innovation, kindness, and pragmatism, ZLTECH provides customers with first-class products and solutions, allowing every partner to use our products with confidence. And in the future, ZLTECH is preparing to expand our categories to include robotic arms and articulated robots. For more company and product information, please view http://www.robotmotor.com/.
